The course of a tandem skydive
Preparation
After roughly 15 minutes of preparation, led entirely by your instructor, you will be ready for the jump itself, and before you jump you will be safely attached to him with a special harness.
The exit from the aircraft
The tandem pilot will jump out of the aircraft with you from an altitude of 3,000 to 4,000 metres.
Free fall
The free fall lasts roughly 40 seconds. The tandem pilot takes care of your comfort and safety the whole time. You can calmly enjoy that unforgettable feeling.
The parachute opens
At the right moment your tandem pilot opens the main parachute.
Flight under the parachute
Once the parachute opens, you fly for roughly 5 to 7 minutes, and during that time you will also try steering it under your tandem pilot's supervision.
Landing
That way you will come down to the ground in the greatest comfort, where the tandem pilot will land with you safely.
Four things you can rely on
A 1,000 CZK deposit per person, the rest at the airfield
When you order you pay a 1,000 CZK deposit per person — we will e-mail you the account number and the payment reference. The deposit is deducted from the price, and you pay the rest at the airfield on the day of your service, in cash or by card. The price is set in advance — we will not surprise you with „our aeroplane is expensive, please pay the difference“.
An individual approach
We do not run group briefings. You will not be meeting your tandem pilot for the first time at the aircraft — he is with you the whole time, including the preparation.
No long waiting
We book your tandem skydive for a specific arrival time, roughly 40 minutes before the aircraft's planned take-off. That time is for the paperwork and for getting ready for the jump itself.
A quality video recording
We make the recording digitally and edit it immediately after the jump. The result is an action film in which you are the main character.
We have been offering tandem skydives since 1998
The company was founded by Jindřich Kantor in 1998 as Tandem Centrum Praha. Since 2007 we have been based at Mladá Boleslav airfield, which is the closest airfield to Prague where it is possible to fly up to four kilometres. In 2009 we were granted the status of a training centre by the Aero Club of the Czech Republic.
