Tandem parachute skydives

A tandem is the easiest way to try free fall without lengthy training. You do not have to know anything — all you have to do is come to the airfield.

Exit altitude
3,000 – 4,000 m
Free fall
35 – 40 s
Flight under the parachute
5 – 7 min
Preparation before the jump
15 min
Arrival at the airfield before take-off
40 min
Basic price
4,500 CZK (approx. €184)

After roughly 15 minutes of preparation, led entirely by your instructor, you will be ready for the jump itself, and before you jump you will be safely attached to him with a special harness.

The tandem pilot will jump with you from an altitude of 3,000 to 4,000 metres and will take care of your comfort and safety during the free fall. You can calmly enjoy that unforgettable feeling. At the right moment he will open the main parachute and let you steer it. That way you come down to the ground in complete comfort, and your tandem pilot lands with you safely.

If you wish, we can record your whole jump. You can then look back on your experience later and share it with family and friends.

A tandem skydive step by step

This is how it goes with us, from the first phone call to the video in your inbox.

Booking a date

You call +420 603 456 227 or write to info@padaky.cz and we agree on a date. We will e-mail you the details for the 1,000 CZK deposit per person, which is deducted from the price. You can also book using the form on the Booking page.

A call two days ahead

We confirm by phone what time the jumping will be — it depends on the weather forecast. We explain the way to the airfield and advise you on what to wear.

Arrival and registration

You arrive at the airfield at the agreed time and we register you as a tandem skydive participant.

Clothing and equipment

When the staff call you over, you put on a jumpsuit and are given goggles and a hood. Everything is included in the price of the jump.

Briefing with the tandem pilot

The tandem pilot takes over, briefs you on the jump and prepares the equipment with you.

Boarding the aircraft

You walk out to the aircraft and take off. During the climb you calmly go over the details of a safe jump.

The exit and free fall

At the right altitude you leave the cabin. Then follow 35 to 40 seconds of free fall.

The parachute and the landing

The tandem pilot opens the main parachute, we let you try steering it and you land together.

The video the same day

If you have ordered a recording, we edit it straight away. There is a good chance it will reach your inbox before you get home.

What to bring with you

  • Comfortable sports shoes — ordinary trainers are enough.
  • Closer-fitting clothes: a tracksuit or leggings.
  • A long-sleeved T-shirt, in case it is cold.
  • A good mood. The rest of the equipment is included in the price of the jump.

The loan of the special equipment — goggles, jumpsuit and hood — is included in the price. If the weather is warm, we see no reason at all why a hood or a helmet should spoil your smile.

Health conditions

You do not need any special medical examination. For people over 60 we recommend an examination by a designated aviation medical examiner. Before the jump you will only confirm with your signature that you do not suffer from any serious heart condition, epilepsy, diabetes or other serious illness requiring constant and regular medical care.

We will not take you up if you arrive under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

What is included and what you never pay extra for

The price in the price list is the price at the airfield. We charge nothing for parking, nothing for the people who come with you and no card fee. The only two items that can be added are the surcharge for a weight over 100 kg and the fuel surcharge on vouchers from agencies — you will find the weight surcharge in the price list.

  • Parking and toilets at no extra charge.
  • No limit on the number of people accompanying you.
  • The people with you watch a live broadcast of the jump from on board the aircraft at the reception.
  • There is a shop with light refreshments by the hangar at the airfield.
  • You can also order and pay for the video afterwards, once you have jumped — we film every jump, including those that were not agreed in advance.
