Message wall
In the hangar at Mladá Boleslav airfield stands a wall covered in messages left by passengers after their jump. People write on it in Korean, English and Czech.
The heading at the top is in three languages: VZKAZY — MESSAGES — 메시지. Below it are hundreds of handwritten messages, signatures and dates.
Most of the messages are in Korean. One of them has drawn a frame around itself and declares: „Of Korean, By Korean, For Korean.“ Another is written in English: „From South Korea. It was so amazing. I wish I wanna sky diving again.“ Names appear too, and thanks addressed directly to the instructor — „Jindra, thank you! It was amazing.“
Nobody organised the wall and nobody transcribes it. It is simply a wall that anyone who feels like it can reach for after landing. That is why a message from Paris sits next to a „Děkuji“ (thank you) written in Czech and a Korean „Fly through the clouds“.
